Euro Chlor has released a new video that details how chlor-alkali chemicals are important in helping us use energy more efficiently. Chlor-alkali chemicals are found in insulating materials, renewable energy production, eco-friendly heat pumps and many more. Chlor-alkali production is also linked to the production of hydrogen, a key energy carrier and chemical ingredient for the future. These chlor-alkali based products could also be important in meeting the sustainability ambitions of Europe as part of the Green Deal. They will also play a role in Euro Chlor's ambitions in becoming safer, more competitive and greener by 2050 under the Euro Chlor Mid Century Strategy.
