Laurens Hartman, Product Manager Caustic Soda and Derivatives of Vynova, was welcomed as the new Chair of the Euro Chlor Statistics Committee at its meeting on 10 September 2025. He replaces Bart Michiels, Business Unit Manager Chlor Alkali - Caustics of INEOS Inovyn, who has been Chair since 2020 and will take on new responsibilities within his company. The Euro Chlor Statistics Committee fulfils external information purposes to foster a good and realistic understanding of the European chlor-alkali sector. This work is essential in ensuring transparency and keeping stakeholders well-informed to support evidence-based decisions that promote a safe, sustainable and competitive chlor-alkali industry in Europe.
