OCTOBER 2025 CHLORINE PRODUCTION

In October 2025, European chlorine production stood at 633,926 tonnes. With 20,449 tonnes, the October 2025 average daily production was 1.7% lower than in the previous month (September 2025: 20,803 tonnes) but 0.2% higher than in October 2024 (20,400 tonnes).
With 269,966 tonnes, the October 2025 caustic soda stocks were 3.7% higher than in the previous month (September 2025: 260,302 tonnes) and 71,196 tonnes above the level of October 2024 (198,770 tonnes).
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK from January to October 2025.
